Nietzsche’s book, “Human, All Too Human,” his inaugural assault on Wagner and Romantic metaphysics, hammers away at the word Mitleid, considering it an instrument of weakness. In its. Friedrich Nietzsche is one of the most influential thinkers of the past years and On the Genealogy of Morality () is his most important work on ethics and politics. A polemical contribution to moral and political theory, it offers a critique of moral values and traces the historical evolution of concepts such as guilt, conscience.   Nietzsche was anti-nationalist and anti antisemitic. Although his sister was quite caught up in the rising tide of German Ethnic Nationalism, Nietzsche rejected this. His letters to her quite explicitly denounce both nationalism and antisemitism.

Nietzsche’s legacy for political thought is a highly contested area of research today. With papers representing a broad range of positions, this collection takes stock of the central controversies (Nietzsche as political / anti-political thinker? Nietzsche and / contra democracy? Arendt and / contra Nietzsche?), as well as new research on key concepts (power, the agon, aristocracy.   Friedrich Nietzsche ( to ) is probably the most important philosopher of the 19th century. He touched almost every topic in philosophy, often leaving his mark in the shape of a completely new approach or s: 1.

The author addresses this book to the readers of Nietzsche's works who are "victims" and have swallowed the bait, and consequently "carried along by the flights of his thought".
